Margarita Luna, age 93, born December 4, 1927 passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her son and caretaker, Carlos, on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021. Margarita dedicated her life as a homemaker, raising her sons and daughters along with her loving husband. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Luna; her daughters, Juanita Luna, and Celia Luna (Spooner); granddaughter, Hilary Luna (Hunt), and daughter in law Shirley Luna. Survived by her daughter Gracie Cadena, and sons, Louis, Raul, Carlos, and Paul Luna; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Services were officiated by Minister Nathan Gray at Koops Funeral Home in Lake Odessa on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021 followed by graveside services at Clarksville Cemetery. Pallbearers are her son Raul Luna, son-in -law, Leonard Spooner, great grandson Marcos Garcia, and grandson-in-law Clint Strudwick. Margarita will be laid to rest next to the love of her life, Lewis Luna, and with the cremated remains of her daughter, Celia Luna.
