Judith Ann Gerber, age 71, of Dowling, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021. She was born April 15, 1949 in Albion, the daughter of Robert DeForest and Anna Mae (Nichols) Janes. Judy graduated from Hastings High School. She married Eric Duane “Rick” Gerber on July 31, 1971. Rick preceded her in death in 2018. Judy loved to read, travel, and spend time with her friends and family. She is survived by her son, David Gerber; sister, Sandy (Kenneth) Hackworth; grandchildren, Christopher and Jensen Bush; and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Anna; and her husband, Rick. Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 18, 2021 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Homer.
