Carol Louise Morgan, age 74, of Woodland transcended from this life on Saturday Dec. 12, 2020 at her home. Carol was born on December 24, 1944 to Norman and Helen Wenk of Chelsea. Carol was very passionate about teaching Spanish and volunteering in school. Her love of gardening, especially irises was shared by a wealth of friends both locally and nationally. Carol will be dearly missed by children, Joe Morgan and Angela (Dave) Pruitt; grandchildren, Paul and Joseph Pruitt along with nephews, Don and Ken Wenk. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Helen Wenk; brother, Dean Wenk and niece, Gail Wenk. According to her wishes her ashes will be interred by family at their property in Northern Michigan. A Celebration is planned for a later date. Memorials can be given in Carol’s name to Crow Canyon Archaeological Center, 23390 Road K Cortez, CO 81321.
