Mark Robert Smelker passed away unexpectedly in Nashville. Mark was born on February 19, 1964 to James and Gloria (Chick) Smelker.
A longtime resident of Freeport he attended Freeport and Middleville schools and was employed for many years as a mechanic in the trucking/agricultural industry.
Mark enjoyed playing pool, hunting and especially riding his motorcycle. He was an animal lover and a huge fan of University of Michigan football and basketball.
The family will have a memorial for Mark in Freeport at a later date.
