Dorothy June Bosworth-Shellenbarger, age 92, of Lake Odessa went into the arms of her Lord on December 15, 2020. Dorothy was born on May 8, 1928 to Dewey and Leah Musser in Dansville. The family will dearly miss her wit, cooking and the unconditional love that was given. In 1946 she married Victor Bosworth and he preceded her in death on March 13, 1972. She later married Donald Shellenbarger and he passed in 2010. She will be dearly missed by her children, Kelvin (Cheryl) Bosworth, Anita (Bill) Stewart, Alyce (Robert) Whitehill, Pam (Russ) Gardner; stepchildren, Donald Shellenbarger, Larry (Sandy) Shellenbarger, Terri Walker, David Shellenbarger; siblings, Lawrence Musser, Arnold Musser, Anita Boutwell, Elaine Foote, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Victor Bosworth and Donald Shellenbarger and children, Patricia Johnson and Keith Bosworth. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at a later date. Dorothy will be laid to rest next to Victor in Freemire Cemetery in Sunfield Township. Memorials can be given to Green Acres of Ionia or Hospice of Lansing in Dorothy’s name.
