Brittany Ann London


Brittany Ann London, age 27, of Middleville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020 in Tampa, FL. Brittany was born august 29, 1993. Brittany graduated from Thornapple Kellogg High School in 2011. She participated in many extracurricular activities during her years in Middleville, including track and field, band, gymnastics, cross country, and cheerleading. Brittany was an avid pole-vaulter, which earned her an athletic scholarship to the University of South Florida. Brittany continued to pole vault at the college level, becoming one of the top ten performers in the school’s history. Brittany graduated from the University of South Florida in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Finance, and remained living in Tampa until her passing. Friends and family will remember Brittany for her smile, bringing joy and laughter to our lives, as well as her kind soul, loyalty and her easy way of befriending everyone. Brittany is survived by her parents Stewart and Melissa London; boyfriend Joel Postigo of Tampa; sister Andrea (Todd) Bosch, sister Michelle (Patrick) Ruffing; nieces Caydence Mugridge and Caroline Ruffing, nephew Tyler Bosch; grandmothers Edna London and Sharon Main; aunts and uncles Steve (Lori) London, Gay London, LuAnn (Greg) Tandy, Diana (John) Servatius, and Tina (Darroll) Watson; as well as many cousins, three cats, and friends both in Michigan and Florida. Brittany was preceded in death by her grandfathers, George London and Richard Main, and uncle, David London. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Brittany’s remains are to be cremated; a memorial service will take place at a later date when it is safe for friends and family to gather to celebrate her beautiful life. Donations in Brittany’s remembrance should be directed to the Thornapple Kellogg Athletics department.
