Joyce M. Aspinall


Joyce M. Aspinall, age 83, of Nashville passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020 at Cedar Creek Adult Foster Care facility in Hastings. Joyce was born in Hastings, on July 3, 1937, the daughter of the late Orville and Madeleine (Allen) Everett. She was raised in the Nashville area and attended schools graduating as the Salutatorian from Nashville W.K Kellogg High School class of 1955. Joyce spent her working career in the accounting department at Hastings Manufacturing for 18 years before retiring in 1988. To keep herself busy, Joyce went back to work at Hastings City Bank where she worked for another nine years before retiring in 1999 Joyce was an avid bowler, and for over 20 years she bowled competitively. The sport she loved enable her to travel extensive throughout the United States to participate in bowling tournaments. When she was not bowling, Joyce enjoyed playing golf in the summer time, spending time with her grandchildren playing card and board games. Joyce loved being with her family, especially when she take along car ride with the sister Joan, so they could listen to music and sing along. Joyce is survived by her children, Laurie (Dave) Kenyon, Doug (Jeanette) Aspinall, Tuesday (Rob) VanEngen, her sister Joan Elliston, seven grandchildren; nine great granchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, and her sisters, Jean Roscoe, Janet Wright The family will plan a celebration of Joyce’s life in the spring of 2021.
