Charles Lowell Beacham Sr., age 88, Delton.
Charles passed from our world on 9-2-2020, at the age of 88. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and loyal friend to many.
He served honorably in the army and air force and in the Korean Conflict. He was a proud life member of the American Legion and the Masonic Temple. Also a truck driver with the Teamsters for many years.
Charlie loved living on Wall Lake, fishing Lake Michigan, and hunting with his buddies. He loved a good laugh and an irreverent hat/ t-shirt. Mostly he enjoyed “shooting the breeze” with those he cared for.
Charles was preceded in death by two sons, James and Joseph Beacham; daughter, Nancy Keeler; and beloved granddaughter, Cindy Eckhart.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Reba Beacham. A sister Judith Kolva, son Charles (Robin) Beacham, daughter Shari Eckhart. Rod (Cindy) Keeler and Debby Crippen. Charles also assumed the role of loving father to Jordan Keeler. He has left eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions to honor Charles can be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
He will be interned at Fort Custer National Cemetery on November 6, 2020 at 12:00 noon.
Charlie will be missed by many who loved him.
