Michael Lee Cole, age 64, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Clarksville on September 29, 2020. He was born in Hastings on December 1, 1956. Michael is the son of George Cole and Janet Hayes Cole. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Betty Cole and three siblings, John (Michelle) Cole of Lake; Joann Segerstrom of Engadine; Larry (Cynthia) Cole of Sunfield. He was predeceased in death by his mother and sibling, Matthew. Michael leaves behind to mourn him, his beloved companion, Linda Johnson Hanger, with whom he built a life and shared a home.  She and her family will miss the joy and tenderness he brought to their lives. Michael attended Lakewood Schools and then enlisted in the Navy. After leaving the Navy, Michael made a career of his skills as a welder and millwright. Growing up on a farm in Sunfield gave Michael an appreciation for his country setting in Clarksville where he was able hunt and enjoy the wildlife. A memorial service will be held at the Odessa Township Community Center 3862 Laurel Drive (M50), Lake Odessa on Saturday, Oct.17, 2020 from 4 to 6 p.m.
