Stephen James Schelter, age 63, of Lansing, born June 25, 1957, passed away at home on September 20, 2020. Stephen was a graduate of Lakewood High School, Class of 1976 and a General Motors employee of 40 years. He is survived by his children, Matthew (Kelly) Schelter and Katelin Schelter both of Lansing; granddaughter Michela Lopez; his mother, Marcia Schelter of Mulliken; brothers, Andrew Schelter of Grand Ledge, Joseph Schelter of Mulliken; sisters, Gwendolyn Schelter of Mulliken, Susie (William) Marshall of Gaylord, Julie Speckin of Lansing, and Kathryn Rice of Lake Odessa. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Schelter and brother, David Schelter. Funeral services will be held at Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020 at 10:30 a.m., with interment to follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery, Mulliken, MI.
