William Allan Frisbie, age 68, of Dowling, passed away surrounded by family on September 19, 2020. William was born on January 11, 1952 in Grand Rapids. On March 13, 1971, he married Susan Lea Barlow (Edwards). They were married for 49 years. William was preceded in death by his son, Daniel J. Frisbie and his father, William R. Frisbie. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; daughters, Lori (Chad) Dutcher and Billie Sue (Dave) Finkbeiner; granddaughter, Morgan Dutcher; grandson, Eric Finkbeiner; mother, Doris Frisbie; siblings, Dick (Debbie) Frisbie, Diane Frisbie, Bob (Terry) Frisbie Jim Frisbie and Larry (Michelle) Frisbie, and many nieces and nephews. William enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. His last hunting trip was a special time with his brother, Larry, as he got an elk. He loved spending time with his family and loved being with his grandkids. William retired from Steelcase in 1994. A celebration of life will be held at a late date due to Covid-19.
